I ran Software Update today and said that new security update was
available that i needed to install, so I installed it, then restarted
my iMac. When the iMac finished booting, Software update ran
automatically and said that I needed to install the same security
update. I found this odd, but installed it again and then restarted.
After the iMac finished booting, the same thing happened as before. I
was wondering if this happened to anyone else or if anyone has any
suggestions as to what might be the cause.
