I use a software router--Sustworks IPNetRouter <http://www.sustworks.com/>, and it works fine. (2 ethernet connections on the gateway machine--one to the DSL and one to the LAN.) However, I think if I hadn't already spent the money on it, I'd rather get a real hardware router.

Hi,
I have a real problem here. I have a BT Openworld ADSL package, it uses the Alcatel SpeedTouch USB ADSL modem.

I have a network of a G3/400, PowerMac 7200/90 and 2 XPHome computers.
Neither the PMac 7200/90 or XPHome computers can connect to the internet via the G3/400!
