The Radeon works fine as the only monitor. I can live without seeing the
first 75% of the boot process. After that, everything (HD icons, menubar,
apps, etc) shows up fine with no indication of a 2nd monitor on the onboard
video. The mouse doesn't go past one edge of the screen, etc.

I am mostly concerned with the speed of the video.
