Help ! Please ? Does anyone know "for sure" if MacComCenter is a "regular" or internet fax app ?
Seems to me it's a "regular" fax - going on regular phone lines as it needs everything - browsers, Free PPP, etc. closed down and then the modem dials the receiving phone number. It takes about one minute per page to send. Are there any free fax apps that use the internet - that work with OS 9.1 ? That would send a fax free of charge ? The free TPC network doesn't work for my area code or the receiver's area code. http://www.tpc.int/verify.html Seemed like a great idea, but . . . . . And - no - I can't just send a computer file. The receiving person is totally blind and can't operate a computer but can use a fax and put the received fax on a reading machine. Please - anyone have some ideas ?
