I got a powerbook with broken screen. I hooked it up to an external screen and could see the desktop background but not all the menu and hard drive icon. I guess the computer is still trying to use the broken screen as the start up screen. Does anybody know the key combination to force the computer to use the external monitor as the start up screen?
