I got mine too... I haven't installed it yet, but I'm going to break out the db meter for a before and after for the exercise. I also have an RTA so I might just check the *quality* of the reduction.
My particular MDD machine isn't really all that loud to my ears... of course, I run almost exclusively in OS X and the machine is under my desk with carpet underneath and sound deadening behind it.
