Oh, that's easy. 1. Make a duplicate of the VPC image, so if something gets screwed up, you'll have a backup. Boot VPC on this duplicate, and make sure it's OK. 2. On one of these images, boot VPC into Win95. Create a directory (call it C:\SETUP98). Put the Win98 CD into the drive and copy the setup files (a directory with a bunch of CABs and a few other files) into the C:\SETUP98 directory. This is about 40 Megs or so, I think... 3. Shut down to the DOS command line, or if necessary, reboot WIN95 into the DOS command line. This does *not* mean to use a command window, this means get out of Windows altogether. 4. Delete recursively the Windows directory and the windows files in the root directory. 5. After erasing whatever evidence of Windows95 you see lying around, go to the C:\SETUP98 directory and run SETUP.EXE. It will start in DOS mode just fine and run the setup from there. I may have missed a few trivialities, but this general scheme has worked for me in a number of occasions. Hope this helps. -greg p.s. I seem to recall some talk of USB -- I think VPC didn't support USB devices directly until version 5 came along, though it would take a USB mouse the Mac was using and present it as a mouse, etc. Specifically, I couldn't use a USB Zip drive directly with VPC until more recent releases.
