This isn't a bad idea if you don't want to boot into Windows, though Win9X has (until 98ME) an option for doing that anyway. However, IIRC, earlier versions of VPC didn't boot from the PC, some Windows distributions aren't bootable, and on many Windows PCs if you don't boot into Windows you can't look at the CD, making the copying of the setups in advance a very convenient thing to do. -greg -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
