RE; thankyou for mentioning it, I thought for some reason my machines 
combination was doing this,and may still be,but nothing would work 
right until I just completely removed explorer,and installed the latest 
netscape,strangely though microslut mail works without any trouble at 
all.Im convinced no two machines are quite the same,and no trouble with 
the new netscape which I had given up on in OS9. presantly OSX10.6 in 
PB 800 and all is well
