I run Netscape 4.74 at work with very few crashes on a Beige G3 266 and it runs acceptably. I am starting to go to Mozilla 1.2, the last OS 9 version and will change over completely shortly.
However at home I am running Mozilla 1.4RC1 (release candidate 1, next step after beta, before final release) and I love it. The home system is a beige G4 533 with 768meg running 10.2.6. Fast and stable. I have not had a Mozilla beta or RC crash on me or have to force quit it. Note that Mozilla, being open source, has some features that Netscape, under AOL, is not allowed to add because of the corporate ownership.
