Hello all, I recently joined the list and this is my first post. Lots of good stuff here, thanks for all the info I've gained so far.
I have an AGP slot G4/400 and recently bought a Maxtor 200 GB drive. With this model of G4, the drive can't be seen as being that big (137GB). My question is if there is any way to use a less expensive PCI IDE controller (preferably a RAID controller) for a PC in my G4, running 10.2.6? The least expensive IDE controller card for Mac I found was off of transintl.com, a SiiG card for $79, the RAID card was $139. Thanks for any input.
