The least expensive IDE controller card for Mac I found was off of
transintl.com, a SiiG card for $79, the RAID card was $139. Thanks for any input.

The old UltraTek/66 (made by Promise, but originally sold only by UltraTek,
and "liquidated" by OWC), as upgraded using FirmTek/OWC's new firmware, is X
compatible.

About $49 or less ... when available.

Just to let everyone know, I went with the SiiG card. While I was at it, I ordered a
Pioneer A05/105 as well, both from transintl.com. I'll post back as soon as everything
is in and working. Any upgrade experiences with this DVD burner and an AGP g4/400?
Cheers.
