I am running my G3 Beige DT, and purchased a new HP deskjet 6122. I have installed from cd as well as going to HP's website and trying there in case of a patch or an upgrade. Nothing works, I constantly get a message "The HP Card Access-Monitor could not start up because a required component is missing or disabled. Reinstall the printer software."

Does this give anyone a clue? When I ordered the G3, I had a USB/Firewire combination card added, as well as a CD-R/RW.

I have run Disk Warrior and also optimized via Norton. When I next restart or start up the printer spits out what was in the queue, multiple copies, and then the alert reappears.

This Princess is looking for Prince Charming, thanks,
Teresa
