Check out Barefeats.com for some good comparisons are all of these cards in different Macs. Another factor on the 450MP system vs the QS and DA G4s is that the AGP is 4x in the latter and only 2x in the 4550MP.

David, I'm not so sure that is correct, re: "slower than a GeForce 3." This is the stock v-card on the QS 1ghzMP (the QS Mac I own). I was under the impression that the GeForce 3 fell in between the 2MX & the 4MX. As I'm wrong more than I'm right - you, however are probably correct :-)

As to the original post... Recently I purchased a 64MX AGP on ebay for my G4/450MP. It replaced the original ATI Pro card that was OEM, and it gave the Mac the ability - finally - to run Quartz Extreme.

It seemed to give about a 15-20% speed increase according to MacBenchX.

Granted this does not "officially" answer your original question, as my G4/450MP is only a 100 bus - not a 133.

BUT - as this is the stock cards on my G4/1ghxMP w/133 bus speed - OS X 2.x.x flies...

Hope this helps...
