Good news: At the Emporium warehouse selloff I found a Powerbook 9500
nestled in among a whole bunch of Quadra-class computers. It had a "Powered
by Sonnet" sticker on it and was attached to a Wacom 12x12 tablet. Bought
the pair for $20.

Good news, it runs nicely!

Good news, put an ACard 66 on it, copied the old 2G SCSI drive over to an 8
g ATA drive. Took out the SCSI drive. System boots, runs fine.

Bad news, neither Puma nor Jaguar installers like this machine. Even with a
Sonnet G3/500 PCI card in it.

Good news, xpostfacto will install Jaguar over OS9 on this machine.

Bad news, this machine is running OS8.5, and the OS9 from the Puma set doesn
t like the machine.

Question: How do I get my 9.2 (Puma) to run here? Or do I have to go to an earlier
version of 9? How do I do that without another $50-70 outlay on eBay?
