I know that the Apple SuperDrives are Pioneer A-series DVD burners, but
are they identical or do they have an Apple ROM that identifies them to
iDVD?

Was never too clear on whether the retail Pioneer drives would be
recognized by iDVD.

It's good that iDVD is available for sale now.

On a related note, anyone using the Devideon from Formac? Still seems to
be a glaring gap in DVD video burning software for the Mac. I mean
video editing or whatever it is that iDVD does (make the menus and ?).
Would really have expected Roxio to come out with something by now to
compete with iDVD.
