GList

My I first start by apologising for getting so many backs up. I understand
that Apple want to move forward and leaving older hardware behind is a way of
doing this, but it still seems a little unfair. The beige supports os x, is
it not one of the minimum requirement machines and yet it is not 100%
supported.

I was not defending MS merely stating that a machine that is capable of
running XP will support hardware that was around when 95 came out.

Maybe that is why Apple is such a stable OS it limits the amount that can go
wrong rather than trying to support everything and causing the machine to
suffer in the longrun. Gees I cant remember the number of times my cheap
soundcard crashed my pc. You dont get that with Apple.

I have found more help in sorting my beige out on this list than any of the
tech support sites. You guys are fantastic.

One final thing I do like OS X just how much am I prepared to sacrafice on my
beige so I can run it?

Simon
