Try removing all of the upgrades: the radeon, the tempo and the firewire/usb card. Connect the drive set up for OSX on the internal IDE drive and see if you can install it then.

Basically the idea is to strip the system down and eliminate as many variables as possible.

Some IDE controllers require you to reformat drives swapping them about, bit I don't think the tempo is one of them.

You don't need either XPostFacto or Sonnet's installer to install OSX on a beige.

Is this OSX 10.2 or an earlier version? Versions earlier than 10.1.3 (iirc) have problems with the radeon, and possibly the Tempo.
