Chris,
You'll almost definitely have to pull the ATI card to install X, with your monitor hooked up to the onboard video socket. Then, after the install, you should be able to re-install the ATI, and hook up the monitor to the video card. As for PC 133 memory, I've had the same problem with the system recognizing only half. You'd be better off getting PC 100 for it. It supposedly has something to do with chip density.

I am currently using a Beige G3 with an ATI 3D Rage II+ DVD video card, running OS 9.1. However, when I try to install Mac OS X on it I get a kernel panic. The only things Ive had added to the computer is that card and some PC133 256MB RAM, which is only accessed as 128MB each. Anyone know how I can get this to work? ATIs website was no help.
Thanks
Chris
