No; IDE is fine ... >> Usually ... but /266 machines were made in Rev. 1A versions, and those were supplied with a SCSI Zip, if a Zip was factory ordered. The later /266s (1998, e.g.) were Rev. 2B versions, and it is these which can support an EIDE Zip.
