If you pull the cover off the G3, you should see a small hole in the eject button of the Zip drive. Poke a paperclip into that hole (you may need a fair bit of force) and the disk should eject. Less likely, the hole is on the back of the drive.

It set your home page settings, which are stored independently of the browsers in OS X.
By the way on the netscape site all input windows such as "Search" and "Login" do not fully display ...again what's up?
What version of Netscape?
