My esteemed listers, I have an original Bondi Blue iMac G3/233.  Back in '98 when I 
bought this, I also got one of the then "new fangled" 4x4x2 USB CD/RW drives.  The 
drive still works great, but ots kind of s-l-o-w.

I also have a 12x10x24 that I took out of one of my S900's.  I put that in the USB 
enclosure, and nothing.  [Mechanically it works fine - but nothing mounts.]

Question:  Is this drive too fast for USB 1.1?

If not then...

Question:  Am I needing software I don't know about?  If so what?

Question:  What am I missing?
