My esteemed listers, I have an original Bondi Blue iMac G3/233. Back in '98 when I bought this, I also got one of the then "new fangled" 4x4x2 USB CD/RW drives. The drive still works great, but ots kind of s-l-o-w.
I also have a 12x10x24 that I took out of one of my S900's. I put that in the USB enclosure, and nothing. [Mechanically it works fine - but nothing mounts.] Question: Is this drive too fast for USB 1.1? If not then... Question: Am I needing software I don't know about? If so what? Question: What am I missing? TIA as always. -- J. R.
