So is that why the drive does not even show up when plugged in? BTW, my system (that I'm testing on) is G4/1gHz (QS) 1gb RAM.
I haven't tried it on the iMac, but is does not show up on the desktop or in Toast 5.2 - it DOES show up in System Profiler. I guess I need to pull the faster drive out & put the S-L-O-W "turtle" drive back in. Thanks for the help/input Dan.
