I have finally realized that there are different B&W G3s thanks to this
list and have determined that I have a rev. 1 with a 6 Gig IDE HD

Therefore I cannot have a master/slave configuration. But it does appear
that I have room for 2 more HDs. From the apple site, I gather that the
first bay would be for a SCSI. Does that mean I could install another IDE
in the second bay? If so, how do I configure the two Hard Drives? E.G.,
could I have O.S. 9.2. on the 6 gig, so if I wanted to use that drive I
could? And have O.S. 10 and classic on the additional HD to use when I
want? And I pick a HD as the start up?

Also - thanks to leads given by this list, I found that there can be a HD
corruption issue with newer HDs on this computer, butthat it can be solved
by either installing a PCI card or by using Intech Hard Drive Speedtools.
If it's important to the above answer, I plan to use the Intech solution.

As usual, my thanks in advance for any elucidation on this plan.
