Option key won't work on a Beige G3. Only the newer Macs can use the Startup
Manager that way.

I repaired permissions, copied the System Folder to the OS X partition and
that seemed to work. I can now startup with either System Folder seemingly
(so far) without any problem. Another weird behavior for OS X.
