They usually release updated firmware to address a specific issue.

Occasionally, there is actually a "regression" in other functions.

On one release (NOT necessarily Sonnet, but definitely for the Promise chip 
set), the updated firmware was for improved OS X compatibility.

However, the update "broke" earlier Mac OS compatibility.

Not a good thing.

Has Sonnet gotten the firmware right for the "Trio", yet?
