hello list.
please, someone help me out.
i have a 266mhz that was working just fine (well, there HAVE been some small headaches) anyway i tried to print a doc to a printer i had just hooked up to the printer port (personal lazer writer), the doc never printed, in fact i never saw the data light come on, anyway then it froze up, and it stays that way, except during boot while it is opening up i can open files, open the chooser etc, but there reaches a point when the cursor just stops and then nothing except a hard turn off can get the machine off.
Boot with extensions off (shift key held down). Locate the spooled printer files and trash them. Locate the printer's prefs and trash them. Reboot.
The above is pretty much SOP if you have Epson printers, but I've had to use it now and then when the LaserWriter driver locks up too...
