I tried install 10.0.4 on and G4 400 and an iMac when it first came out and the install crashed on both machines! Then 10.1 came out and it was a dream, albeit a little slow. Jaguar came out and it rocks! and it's fast! Panther will do one better!

yes it is just a hunch, since I had not run OS 9.2 from the moment I
installed OS X, and I certainly don't delete anything unless I know what it is.
well turned out that I somehow got confused so I set the computer to start up
with my sister's username which had never been used yet, duh for me, but I
guess I am still learning :)
