This was addressed earlier in the list as for some Apple reason the ata shows up as a scsi for boot reasons off of a pci based ata controller. It was determined that though quirky, it was normal.
Don't know how much one can trust ASP. I just installed a Sonnet ATA 133 PCI controller and ASP thinks it's a SCSI card...
