doh! how'd i know that was gonna be the case!
had a quick look at the g5 and it looks like they use a 'nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128', one of which i have just found on ebay for a reasonable sum. as i already have the dvi to adc adapter, if i buy one of these cards will it go in a dell dimension 8300??!?! arrrggggg! why doesn't everything work with everything else!! thanks for getting back to me, cheers, jake -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
