Dear G-List:

I am going to be swapping my built-in CDRW drive with a Pioneer DVR-105 drive on my PowerMac G4 466 which is running OS 10.2.6. Other than the actual physical installation, are there any other things I need to do to make this drive work?

Roland :)

P.S. I will also be upgrading the processor.

It will work just fine. I have a Pioneer A-05 (removed from my DP 1.25) in my 400 AGP G4. It burns DVD-r and cdrw disks perfectly. I use 10.2.6 for the os and have 768 MB ram in it. haven't had a problem yet. I replaced the A-05 with an A-06 in the DP, I also have a couple different models of Matshita combo drives that work well, too.
