I recently had problems with a PC 100 DIMM in my Mac (it happens to be
an iMac 400DV but I had no joy on that list and as I figured it should apply
to any G Mac I'm posting here...)

Anyway, so I replaced it with another DIMM that I taken out of a PC (yup,
another dead PC :o) but it didn't work as it was PC100-335 as opposed
to 322 or 222 (CL3/CL2). Fine, I tried another one and it happened to be
a PC 66 DIMM, though it appears to work fine.

DIMM Check, or DIMM first aid (I forget which) reports on it being less than
PC 100 but says it's ok.

My question (finally): How come, if Apple specify PC 100 can I use the Mac
with PC 66 RAM and it hasn't crashed once ???
