All,

Friend asked these questions. Comments?

If your friend can find an Apple store? Go and play with both the 15" and 17" iMac's. The difference of the larger screen is not that noticeable and there's a killer pricing on the 15" currently. Besides attractive pricing the iMac comes preloaded with MS Office X, Peak LE and all the usual Apple software. Office X and Peak alone are worth $400.00 all by themselves.

Also if you have the Apple store upgrade the memory, you can specify they upgrade the non-user accessible memory and that leaves the easy upgrade slot for later.
