go to ibm.com, find the link for where the drive info is (it's been sold off,
but they do have a link) and get the manual.  just because drives are the same
brand doesn't mean much when setting jumpers, i always, always get the makers
manual.  generally, most if not all lvd drives will work single ended, however,
high voltage differential drives do not work that way and that "standard" was
quickly abandoned.
