This is weird. I have used Imation CD-R discs exclusively (I'm halfway through my third 100-disc spindle) and the only coaster I had was my fault as I aborted the write process.
I haven't used that many CD-RW ... I have two TDK that came with my TDK VeloCD and they have been sufficient thus far (they have each been rewritten about 50 times). Hmmm ... perhaps I should stay with the TDKs for CD-RW, though I am quite happy with Imation CD-R.
Any idea on how many times a CD-RW can be rewritten? When rewritten, does some of the previous data remain and can be recovered by a disk recovery utility?
Thanks,
L

I also had similar problems with Imation CDRW's but was able to use Disk Utility in OS X to reformat and use them again. John
