I just recently purchased a Power Mac G4 MDD and have a Sony 15" SDM-M51D hooked up. Everything is fine except for 2 problems. When I shut down the G4 will not even give me a light upon starting back up. The only way to come back up is unplug the DVI to VGA adapter. When I do so, the machine automatically starts booting without hitting the power button. I've tried starting up with the monitor completed unplugged. It will start, but when I plug the monitor in the start up screen is in the upper left 2/3rds of the screen and the rest of the screen is blue. Nothing happens if I start up with the monitor plugged in and set to analog, but the machine will attempt to boot, but not finish, if the monitor is set to digital. Also, the machine wakes itself up from sleep mode during the night. I can come in in the early morning and the screen will be glaring at me. One more weird thing. When it is in sleep mode, the Status Light doesn't blink as the manual says it will. Anybody got any ideas?
