Hi all;

I just got a G4/AGP B/W with Jaguar that's doing just fine for me; but it
came with the hockey puck mouse and the small B/W keyboard.

I've used both before at work (macs at work, woo) but this B/W keyboard, in
addition to being its usual self, also has horribly stiff keys, just poor
feel all around, almost impossible to use for accurate typing. Worse than
usual for a B/W keyboard.

Is there a way to clean up the action on this thing or should I just pitch
it and get a 3rd party replacement? I'll likely get a 3rd party one
sometime but would rather get other toys first- but this keyboard is REALLY
just about unuseable as it is now.

thanks for thoughts;

Brian

Hi Brian,
I washed mine in warm water and allowed to air dry (sometimes in the sunlight) for 4 days. My wash solved sticky keys and help with dog hairs and other debris. Now when not in use now, I turn my keyboard upside down or cover it with a plastic bag. Dirt from 2 dogs who have taken over creates extra challenges to keep something clean:-)
