I've never seen it on Jaguar (knock on wood =P), but in 10.1.x and below I
used to get them if I installed bad ram or if I had my SCSI card in the
machine while installing X.  Your screen would go black and it would
actually say "kernal panic!" and scroll a bunch of code down the screen.
(sort of looks like the startup of the install when you use XPostfacto and
install Jag onto a pre-G3 Powermac).
