Maybe this is a big "duh" but do you use the same AirPort card in a laptop and a desktop? I only ask because I picked up an AirPort card cheaply--one that had previously resided in a Pismo. I tried to put it in my G4/AGP tower last night and the computer didn't recognize it. (When I tried to start the AirPort software, there was a message like, "The computer didn't detect the necessary hardware...") Anyhow, I don't know if I just put it in wrong or if I'm using the wrong card or if I'm just an idiot. Help?
It's the same card. Try reseating the card. -- Clark Martin Redwood City, CA, USA Macintosh / Internet Consulting
