My card is actually the Apple OEM version of the ATTO UL3D. It only has one
internal and one external connector. Also, my beige is a Rev B.

I found the hack to flash the Apple firmware converting the card back to a
standard ATTO. I'm hesitant to do this yet, since it will no doubt void my
ability to return the card for a refund.

If I'm following you, then I should be able to test this by connecting the
drive to the external connector to see if it boots, yes?

I'm not sure I understand this procedure. Is this sort of like a "Y"
adapter enabling you to connect a cable to either bus 0 or 1 on either
connector? I want to connect one (and eventually two) drives to the internal
bus and get maximum throughput, eventually setting them up as a RAID.

I'd very much like to get this card working if you could help me understand
just what I'm missing. Thanks,

Charles
