The problem is probably the printer. I've got a HP officejet d135 that gave
my beige G3 Tower fits and is not giving my Power Mac G4 Dual 1.25 Mirror
Drive Door unit fits. After a sleep session the only way I can get it to
work is re-start or log out and then log back in. If I could afford another
brand of four-in-one I'd throw this thing in the trash come Tuesday.

I used to be a Mac Tech for HP. The all -in-one software is the biggest hunk of crap I have ever dealt with
The hardware is decent, but the HP AIO Communications has constant communication issues. This junk actually got me fired. Myself and a co-worker went around and put pics of lemons on every single AIO in the building. I used to go to Apple dealers BEGGING them not to sell HP AIO's Mac users.

I don't have a bad thing to say about any other HP product. They are generally great. They know of the problems with the AIO software and continue to release new machines without any improvement in the program. Fair warning.

I wouldn't really recommend ANY AIO from ANY company. Individual peripherals are always the best way to go.
