One small thing...
When authenticating to shares on the XServe the machine tried to access the michael keychain how can you make berni take ownership of the keychain?
The keychain file is still named 'michael', and needs to be renamed 'berni' go to /Users/berni/Library/Keychains and rename the file 'michael' to 'berni'.
This will probably work...
