I just picked up a Pioneer 104 off ebay and I am guessing that the people that I got it from did not run the updater to take care of the possible problems with 4x dvd-rs.

When I run the Updater that I downloaded from Pioneers site (Apple's says that my hardware- a beige G3 with a G4 running 10.2.8- is not compatible with their updater) I get the message that "ATA Hardware is not present on this system". The beiges have native ATA on the MB (I am running a version 2 rom), but my HD is on a Ahard ATA133 card.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the updater to run?

Thanks,
Len
