Not sure about prices, but would not get Yikes G4. It was just a G3 processor in a G4 box. The PCI graphics card was a throw back to G3 models. AGP graphics cards are better and easier to upgrade. 400 Mhz G4 single processor should be in the $500-$600 rangeish.

Hi all,
I am thinking baout buying some macs from the company I work for for my mom and sister and brother, I have a 400 Mhz gigabit G4 with Geforce 4 card 1.5 GBs of ram, and a 30 GB hard drive and a radeon 7000 pci card, I paid $550 for it including shipping.
now, at work they have up for sale a PCI graphics (yikes?) G4 with original HDD and vid Card, it has 320 MB of RAM. Rage 128 vid card in the PCI slot.10 GB HDD. 400 Mhz G4
the second one I think is the sawtooth, because it has 100 Mb nic not the 1000 Mb one. It has 400 Mhz G4, with 128 MB of RAM, 20 GB hdd, and AGP Rage 128, I think these are the original hdd and vid cards as well.
There is no software with these computers, which isn't a big deal caus eI have it all at home, OS everything. My question is how much would you pay for these machines, the PCI one should be ok for checking email, using office X, and surfing the web I hope. I know the AGP should be okish cause I use my 400 with OSX.
looking for what I should offer to the accountant here at work to buy them?

Thanks,
Glenn
