I had a beige g3/233 that I bought so I could try out OS10. Ram from 214mb to 384mb. No difference. G3/280 to G4/500. No big difference. Rage Pro to Radeon 7000. No big difference. PCI Extreme installed. Like day and night. I believe that with Quartz Extreme enabled, even my littel G3/233 would've been a much speedier performer. Matter of fact, I may have to try that out since I'm returning the beige to its original config and mounting a B&W motherboard into a PC case.
