As I said in my "Should I be worried posts" my beige g3 is crashing on me since I upgraded to 10.2.8 yesterday. I'm on it now but it keeps dying and except for Mail none of the internet applications (or regular applications for that matter) work. I get "application unexpectedly quit" when I try to launch IE or Netscape (or iCab or Safari) and I get what appears to be dead monitor when I try to launch MSWord. I hooked my iMac up to it to do emergency backup and when the monitor appears to be dead, I can't access files through file sharing although the power light and fan are on on the CPU and the monitor light is on but showing its sleep mode (but it doesn't wake up).

I don't know what to do. I've never run into this kind of thing and my "Missing Manual" is out on loan. And of course I'm in the middle of a big project.

Can anyone point me in a useful direction?
