No way that I know of to "downgrade" an OS X install. There are install options in 10.2 using the archive and install to "preserve settings and network preferences" or something to that affect. If you choose that radio button, all of your settings will be the same and it'll be hard to tell you've just installed a clean system.

This is what I did, and now my system is rock solid again.
I also have two iBooks, a clamshell & a dual USB. Both are 10.2.8. Both have taken a big hit on battery function. Is there any way to uninstall 10.2.8 without doing a full archive & install? I don't want to do this twice more, it takes forever. Kris Tilford
