 Empty your mail folders! I bet all your archives are still being
duplicated and saved at the server level. In OE,
go to "Accounts" select your current account, then "Edit" then click on the
"Options" tab. You'll see "Server Options" and one of the choices is to
"leave copy at the server level" deselect it, and save your changes.

Create a folder on your HD, drag ALL the letters you want to save onto your
HD (into this folder), then trash all the originals squirreled away on your
OE account. Quit and restart, see what you get.

That's my first thought. Maybe you're IP has given you only 5mg of storage
space, and it's all full?
