My zip drive will work fine with my Quadra and works fine with my powerbook, but it won't work with my G3 Beige Desktop.
The Quadra 610 runs 7.6.1 and has a iomega driver and the powerbook runs 9.1 and has a iomega driver now but didn't when I tried to use it at first and it worked the first time.
The G3 has an iomega driver, but doesn't work still. Help please?
Two drivers - the one on the ZIP disk and the one you put on the Mac. One works, the other doesn't. The one you don't want is overriding the other, more or less.
Try this: Remove the Iomega driver from the System Folder. Reboot. Stick in the disk. If the disk doesn't mount, run Iomega's Guest utility to force-load the driver.
