Peripherals (all SCSI): Umax scanner ID#4; Iomega Jaz Drive ID#2; Yamaha CDRW ID#6 Iomega Zip Drive ID#5. The harddrive ATA bus 0 and the internal CD-ROM ATA bus 1 and both have ID#0. There seem to be two problems and I am not certain as to whether or not they are related. #1) Whenever I have the CDRW on the unit locks up unless I turn all the other peripherals off, even then it acts erratic.
Could be a termination problem. Some SCSI units have built in termination. Make sure only the last item in the chain is terminated.
